Welcome
Climate change has a profound impact on various economic aspects. The Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation's decennial conference in 2024 is dedicated to climate change and its implications for inequality and redistribution. This conference brings together the leading economists who will present their research on climate-related topics in macroeconomics, international economics, labor markets, and industrial organization.

The Foundation is well known for the Yrjö Jahnsson lecture series, which was established in 1963, and the Yrjö Jahnsson Award in Economics, which was established in 1993 with European Economic Association. The decennial conference was first organized in 1983.
