The workshop will be organized in a small town called Jokioinen, Finland. Luke’s one main office is located in Jokioinen. Luke owns high infrastructure (e.g. including fields, green houses, different laboratories) for the agriculture research in Jokioinen. The town is located 120 km from Helsinki, 90 km from Turku and 10 km from Forssa. Please see more information about travelling in the tab "Travelling".
Accommodation is organized in the town called Forssa, near by the town Jokioinen. Please be prepared to pay for your hotel room. The registration fee covers bus transportation between Forssa and Jokioinen and back on all workshop days.
You can book an overnight stay at Hotel Fabrik in Forssa https://www.hotelfabrik.fi/. A double room will be €96/night and a single room €82/night. Breakfast is included in the price. A room can be booked at the hotel's reception (forssa@hotelfabrik.fi or by calling +358 10 573 0100) with a reservation called KIINTIÖ LUKESYYS24. The quota valid until 30 June 2024. After that free rooms can be booked at the hotel’s normal prices. Reservations can be paid at the hotel. We kindly recommend that you prefer shared rooms.
