7.–8.10.2025, Rovaniemi, Finland
Practicalities
Arriving
In addition to traveling by car, Rovaniemi can be reached by plane, train, or bus. There are several daily flights from Helsinki. Public transport connections from Rovaniemi Airport to the city are limited, so the most convenient way to get to the city is by taxi. When using a taxi, it is important to ask the fare before starting the journey.
Finnish Railways (VR) operates multiple train services each day, and several bus companies run daily routes to Rovaniemi. Timetables for trains and buses can be found online.
Accommodation
Rovaniemi is a tourist city, and October is not yet the peak season, so there are plenty of accommodation options available. However, accommodation pricing is usually dynamic, so those who book early are more likely to get the best rates.
Getting around the city
Rovaniemi is a compact city, and the city center as well as the conference venues are easily accessible on foot. Hotel receptions can arrange taxis from reliable providers. If you hail a taxi on the street, it’s important to always ask the price in advance.
