About
Join us for the Swedish Arbitration Days 2026 - an exclusive 1.5-day international conference at the iconic Grand Hotel in Stockholm. This biennial gathering brings together the world's leading arbitration professionals for high-level discourse, unparalleled networking, and meaningful exchange. On the evening of the first day, delegates are invited to join an unforgettable Gala Dinner at Alfred Nobel's old dynamite factory, now one of the most distinctive event venues, arriving in style aboard a classic Stockholm steamboat, cocktail in hand as the late summer sun sets over the city.
The theme of the 2026 edition is: The Future of the Rule of Law in International Arbitration.
This year's programme features parallel sessions, designed to maximise networking and the exchange of views, confronting the most pressing challenges facing international arbitration today. Topics range from the impact of geopolitical turbulence and sanctions in relation to arbitral proceedings, to the consequences of CJEU jurisprudence for the integrity of arbitration in Europe, arbitrator independence, due process, and the growing role of AI. Across all sessions, the conference asks a defining question: are international arbitration's existing frameworks equipped to uphold the rule of law, and what must change to secure its legitimacy going forward?
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Stockholm - warm, golden and alive with the last long days of summer.
