What? Our ambitious goal is to bring the Nordic foundation community together in Helsinki in a way that sparks real connections, fresh ideas, and pathways for concrete collaboration. Our theme is polarisation, and we will look at it from different perspectives: how to tackle it, and how to collaborate with others in challenging times. We will also have plenty of insights on other relevant themes and topics.

 

Who? This event is a team effort! There will be many breakout sessions to choose from, organised by experts from various foundations around the Nordics, as well as interesting keynote speakers, discussions, site visits and art performances. Our planning team of seven is working hard to put it all together, and we’re excited to welcome you to Helsinki!

 

When? 25-26 September. Starting on Thursday at 11 am, ending on Friday at 1 pm, including an evening program with dinner on Thursday night.

 

Where? Event center Kulttuurikasarmi in the heart of Helsinki, as well as other locations nearby.

 

Why? To make it worthwhile for you, we’ll promise to do our best to ensure that the conference offers you:

• At least two valuable new connections with colleagues from other Nordic countries – people and foundations with whom you share common ground.
• Fresh perspectives that challenge your thinking at least twice: What does polarisation mean to us? How can we address it? And what role can foundations play together? (If this sounds intense, remember that there will also be insights on other themes!)
• Inspiring benchmarks: examples of organisations, solutions, and practices that can fuel your work.
• The first steps toward new collaborations that could grow into something bigger.
• Two joyful days in Helsinki, filled with great company and inspiring conversations.
