Mia Andersson, FESTIVE ROAD
Travel Engagement Leader
Mis is an experienced Business Travel leader who has worked in the industry for more than 25 years. In 2017 Mia joined Festive Road, the travel and meeting engagement agency, to work with the client-side community on strategy and traveller engagement programs and support FESTIVE ROAD´s intermediary and supply- side client base with “inside the mind of the buyer” insights and perspectives. Before that, she managed the award-winning AstraZeneca Global Travel  Programme.

Mia was awarded The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Master Honors in 2016 for “Outmost commitment, engagement and leadership in the business travel industry”. She sits on the SBTA Board and GBTA EMEA Advisory Board, and has also served as co-chair for GBTA Europe Aviation Committee for 3 years. 


Kasey Chappelle, American Express Global Business Travel
Chief Privacy Officer
Kasey Chappelle is Chief Privacy Officer for American Express Global Business Travel. She created and heads GBT’s privacy risk management programme and advises the company on sustainable enterprise data business models. Her expertise lies in creating multinational data protection compliance programs, strategising on privacy risks, advising on best practices in notice and consent, and interacting with policymakers and opinion-formers on issues of privacy, data and society. She’s been advising on multinational data protection compliance since the original EU Data Protection Directive came into effect – almost 20 years.

Before GBT, Kasey was Vodafone Group’s global privacy counsel, where she led strategic privacy and public policy initiatives in privacy, security and data protection. Previously, she was global director of consumer privacy for eBay’s e-commerce, financial and online services around the world, and worked in privacy for an internet advertising company. She started her legal career in telecommunications, technology and privacy law at Willkie Farr and Gallagher in Washington, DC. And even earlier, she studied and worked in advertising and graphic arts – skills that come in handy when advising on privacy by design and privacy engagement.


Ulrich Danz, AirPlus International
Head of Research and Development
Ulrich Danz has been Head of Research and Development at AirPlus in Neu-Isenburg since 2012. The key focus of his work is the development of innovative payment solutions. He joined AirPlus 18 years ago after graduating in Business Administration and commenced worked as a product manager for the Online Booking Engines and Travel Expenses team and was later responsible in the development of AirPlus’ core product, the AirPlus Company Account. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as well as a passion for creating and developing new ideas to benefit our customers and their overall business travel management experience.


Jo Dardenne, Grayling Brussels
Public Affairs Manager
Jo is a public affairs manager in the Grayling Brussels office. Grayling provides public affairs services to a variety of businesses across the EU and the globe, helping them navigate through the European regulatory landscape, identifying challenges and opportunities arising from EU legislation and shape discussions to foster a positive environment for businesses, including for business travel. As a French and British national, Jo has had experience in dealing with European and French Public Policy. She manages various public affairs campaigns for clients in the fields of Transport, Travel, Trade, Tourism and Energy.


Landry Holi, Amadeus
Head of Innovation Management & Services
Landry is in charge of delivering corporate innovation consulting services and framework across Amadeus which enable to catalyze and explore effectively high impact Innovation.  Landry is also currently co-leading the Amadeus – Accenture Alliance Innovation Center headquartered in Dublin and focusing on airline digital transformations. Landry has over 25 years of experience in IT and Travel, with specific insight on online travel retailing. He started his career at ICL in UK, developing IT solutions for large general retailers. He then joined Amadeus where he has held various positions (software engineering, product management, corporate strategy, innovation management). In particular, Landry has led various large innovation programs and digital transformation initiatives, including post-merger organizational transformation activities within the context of M&A projects. Landry works with Tech start-ups and research lab ecosystems to drive disruptive digital innovation initiatives. As an expert in the travel and tourism industry, Landry also participates to conferences as a keynote speaker, lectures in universities, and does innovation strategy consulting, including mentoring start-ups. Landry holds a Master in Computer Science, a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Finance Engineering.


Christoph Klenner, European Technology & Travel Services Association (ETTSA)
Secretary General
Christoph represents the interests of ETTSA and its members vis-a-vis European policy makers, industry stakeholders, consumer groups and the media. Previously, Christoph was a partner at The Prisma Consulting Group, Brussels/Geneva. He advised, amongst others, Apax Partners, Boeing Co., the British Business and General Aviation Assocation, Emirates, Expedia.com, Japan Air Lines, P&O / DP World, and SITA. A graduate of the University of Maastricht and Budapest University, Christoph is based in Brussels, Belgium. He is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the European Aviation Club. He is also a regular speaker at travel industry events in Europe and beyond.


Nicola Lomas, International SOS
Director of Travel Partnerships
Nicola is passionate about professionally executed business travel, having had a 25+ year career in business travel in the US and Europe and having held senior roles as both a buyer and supplier. Former Chair and board director of the Institute of Travel Management, a leading business travel industry body, and current a member of the Business Travel Show & Business Travel iQ advisory board, Nicola continues to contribute to the industry by developing solutions that are focusing on risk
management for travel professionals.


Jarkko Jaakkola, MaaS Global
Area Manager for Nordics
Jarkko has worked for over 15 years in Intelligent Transport Solutions (ITS) sector in projects involving both public and private sector. Jarkko is currently Area Manager for Nordics in MaaS Global and has previously been CEO of a Norwegian tracking company's subsidiary in Finland and has held positions both in sales and product management. He has also been a board member and treasurer of TISA (www.tisa.org), a worldwide non-profit organisation focused on proactive implementation of traffic and travel information services and products based on existing standards. Through his working career, he has gathered extensive knowledge and information about market trends from traffic and transport related matters. Jarkko holds M.Sc. (tech) in automotive engineering, minoring in marketing, from Helsinki University of Technology and Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (currently Aalto University)


Johnny Thorsen, Mezi - Your Personal Travel Assistant 
VP Global Travel Strategy & Partnerships
Johnny is a passionate innovator and enjoys distrupting the status quo. Previously he served as Senior Director of Strategy and Product Marketing for Concur Risk Messaging and Senior Director at SAP Mobile Services. Currently he is a VP of Travel Strategy at Mezi.

Mikko Turtiainen, Finnair
Vice President Global Sales
Mikko joined Finnair in 1999 and has since then gained extensive experience in global sales and business development divisions within Finnair. Currently Mikko is heading up the global sales organization and with the team, is responsible for generating passenger revenues during Finnair’s historic growth strategy. An area of focus is developing sales practices to meet the demands of the ever evolving global markets. He emphasizes the development of digital solutions and implementation of new capabilities over the upcoming years. As part of the Commercial Management team, he also contributes to the commercial strategy laying out the overall direction of Finnair.


Melvin van Wingerden, AirPlus International
Commercial Director, The Netherlands & Nordics
Melvin has been heading up AirPlus’ Sales and Account Management team in the Nordic countries since October 2017. His mission is to expand AirPlus’ footprint in the Nordic countries by offering innovative, (virtual) payment solutions that support Nordics businesses to achieve their strategic objectives. Melvin is very passionate about building high performing commercial teams and also about the latest developments in the payment industry. He brings a wealth of financial, travel, and technology experience to AirPlus with over 20 years of senior commercial expertise which he gained during his time at Fraedom (HRG’s Technology Business), MobileXpense, and previously at AirPlus.
