The Finnish Food RDI Forum targets to improve collaboration and information flow among the food system actors. The aim is to strengthen RDI collaboration, co-create and boost RDI activities, to share RDI results and information on the preparation and funding of RDI projects, promote networking among doctoral students, and to facilitate development of a common national research infrastructure. 

The kickoff of the Finnish Food RDI Forum was organized on March 19, 2025, and the feedback was excellent. In October we will continue the dialogue and information sharing, and welcome you all to network and co-create with actors from different parts of the food system.  

Program contents for October 31st  

• Co-development of the RDI Forum's operating model, discussion on information sharing tools 

• Presentation of regional RDI clusters and projects  

• Presentations on funding opportunities and experiences from joint projects  

• Co-development for ideating and building new Business Finland projects  

The October Food RDI Forum is powered by VTT, LUKE, University of Helsinki, University of Eastern Finland, Finnish Food and Drink Industries' Federation, Business Finland and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland, but all actors are welcome to join for co-developing the RDI Forum for future.
