About the delegation
To promote concrete business opportunities in Sichuan market, the Embassy of Finland in China will cooperate with Chinese partners (Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute, International Cooperation Bureau of Sichuan Tianfu New District, Energy Internet International Innovation Center) to jointly organize a Finland National day & Smart Energy Sub-forum in afternoon of June 25, including business match-making with Chinese energy companies and stakeholders. Besides, it is planned to visit some major energy companies on June 26, for example, Sichuan Energy Investment Group.
Under guidance of the National Energy Administration of China (NEA), the 4th China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum will be organized in Chengdu on June 25-26, 2026. Leveraging Sichuan Province's strengths in clean energy resources, the Forum aims to further promote practical and results-oriented cooperation in energy technology innovation and facilitate the commercialization and large-scale application of advanced clean energy technologies. About 200 delegates from European and Chinese energy authorities, the EU Delegation to China, embassies of European countries in China, energy and power enterprises, industry associations and research institutions will participate in the Forum.
