We invite you to submit proposals for workshops to be held at the WASP/WASP-HS/DDLS conference, Research opportunities at the intersection of society, life science, and technology 7-8 May 2026 in Uppsala.

The workshops are intended to foster discussion and exchange of ideas among researchers working across the humanities, social sciences, life sciences, and technology. They are a gathering place for attendees with shared interests to meet to develop focused discussions; they are also an opportunity to find people who care about the same issues, questions, and research agendas as you and your research group.

The proposal should contain:

  • A tentative title of the workshop
  • The name and one-page CV of the primary organizer
  • A brief description of the workshop and its goals
  • A brief description of how the proposed workshop (i.e., the questions and topic) cuts across the humanities, social sciences, life sciences, and/or technology
  • A short description of how the workshop will be organized (e.g., interactive discussions, design sessions, or other engaging formats). Please note that participants should not be required to prepare or submit materials in advance
  • A suggested room size/number of participants (even if it may be hard to anticipate how many people may join the workshop)
  • Any logistical and AV requirements (such as Whiteboard, Projector and Screen)

Deadline for proposals:  Dec 1st at 13:00

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required to complete the form.
