A - You are an experienced beach volleyball or indoor volleyball player. You have a good ball control and play consistently with block-defense. You are able to attack and serve to targeted areas. 
 
B - You have already been playing for several years and 2 vs 2 games are flowing smoothly. You use basic block-defense signs in your game and your basic touches are on good level. Achieving B-level requires several years of active engagement in the sport.
 
C - You are an eager amateur player and you understand the idea of 2vs2 games. Basic skills such as passing, setting and attacking need more practicing and confidence. On this level, you will learn the basics of block-defence. Often, C-level is reached after 1-3 years of practicing the sport. Practice on this level patiently before trying to move to B-level.
 
D - You are an enthusiast who would like to play 2 vs. 2 games, but there is still a lot to improve in every aspect. Blocking and defensive play are not yet familiar. At the D-level, you master all the fundamental technical aspects of the sport and gain an understanding of 2 vs. 2 play. Practice patiently here before moving to the C-level.

E - You just found this amazing sport or have been playing just for fun in bigger groups. You don't have any background with volleyball. The games are played 3-4 vs 3-4. Focus is on learning the basic techniques of all areas and how to play the game.
