The Opening Ceremony of Tampere University's Academic Year 2026–2027 will be celebrated on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 in the Main Auditorium on the City centre campus.

With the same form the University's Rectorate, Board and Academic Council members as well as professors can enroll also to the academic procession of the Opening Ceremony. All Tampere Universitys's professors are invited to take part on the procession, including industry professors, assistant professors and associate professors.
