Who will be the Laurea Alum of the Year 2026?
We are awarding the Laurea Alum of the Year for the 19th time. The recognition is granted annually to a Laurea alum who highlights Laurea and the expertise gained here in working life and in society. The recipient of the award serves as a source of inspiration for our students and fellow alumni.
When selecting the Alum of the Year, the following factors are considered an advantage:
- The alum has succesfully utilized the expertise acquired at Laurea in working life and society.
- The alum has actively participated in Laurea’s networks and activities.
- The alum serves as an example of lifelong learning and diverse career paths.
- The alum supports Laurea’s student community and alumni by sharing their experiences and expertise.
Anyone who has graduated from Laurea, current students, Laurea staff, as well as the university’s partners and stakeholders may nominate candidates for the award.
The alumni working group reviews the proposals and submits a recommendation to the Rectorate, which makes the final decision.
