We will host series of competitions, culminating with a Final “King/Queen of the Beach” style Tournament at the end of the season in April. At the final tournament, the best players will be recognised and awarded with awesome prizes!
Each player will get at least 3 games at each game day.
During the season we will use an individual ranking system that is constructed and updated based on the sum of points earned by each player at each tournament stage.
There will be an individual ranking system that is based on the sum of points you earn at each stage.
Points are given at each tournament stage per pair (max 100pts per team = 50pts to each player) as follows:
1st place 100
2nd place 80
3rd place 60
4th place 50
5th place 40
6th place 36
7th place 34
8th place 30
9th place 28
10th place 26
11th place 24
12-14th place 20
15-16th place 15
12 best individuals following the ranking after the fifth tournament are qualified to participate in King of the Beach tournament.
Matches are played following the official FIVB rules, excluding overhead setting. You are allowed to set overhead only when your feet are fixed on the ground and your body is not in motion. Set suitability will be judged by the referee, but generally, the set is clean unless the ball is clearly caught or obvious double contact has been made.
Referee duty is assigned for the first match, after which the loser receives the responsibility. The organiser is the referee for the finals match. All tournament stages are played in 2vs2 format.
PRICING: 45€ per team
*No-shows and teams who fail to notify the organizer about their absence, at least 48hrs before match day, will be charged full competition price
PS! Storm or bad weather will not affect the tournament schedule 😉
