Working conditions are better at workplaces that have a shop steward.

Shop steward elections will be held at Industrial Union workplaces in November-December 2026. We are looking for new shop steward candidates and people who would like to learn more about the role of a shop steward.

You do not need to be an expert to become a shop steward. The Industrial Union provides training, support and expert assistance for shop stewards.
