Mistra SafeChem Seminar Series: Classical Regulatory Toxicology
This seminar provides an introduction to regulatory toxicology and chemical safety assessment. It explores how principles such as hazard identification, dose-response assessment and exposure assessment are applied across different regulatory frameworks and categories of chemicals and products. The seminar also considers the roles of regulatory authorities and international organisations, including OECD’s work on harmonised test guidelines, and how toxicological evidence informs regulatory decision-making.
