Ports & Bridges: Multitwinning 2026
Celebrating the 20 years of multitwinning
We are excited to invite the Multitwinning chapters to Turku from 19 to 22 March 2026! Founded in 2006, Ports & Bridges is an active project between JCI chapters located in the cities of Antwerpen, Duisburg, Hamburg, Istanbul, Riga and Rotterdam. All member chapters in Ports & Bridges are water-bound cities and logistic centers with vibrant harbor activities.
The main goal of multitwinning is the establishment of an active international exchange between the chapters. The key focus is a to transfer cultural and business know-how, as well as bonding between individuals, which in turn will strengthen the European JCI network.

We like to say: “Who needs Paris when we have Turku?” With its irresistible charm, our dear Turku wins the hearts of visitors. The vibrant banks of the River Aura are the city’s social heartbeat, while graceful historic buildings blend seamlessly with a modern, dynamic lifestyle. Turku is also a culinary hotspot and home to a Michelin-starred restaurant and several others featured in the Michelin Guide.

Programme 19.–22.3.2026
- Thursday 19.3. Arrival to Turku, Finland & welcome event at Svarte Rudolf, an old steamship turned to a restaurant.
- Friday 20.3. Visit to Meyer Turku Shipyard, lunch and sightseeing. A chance to dine at Smör, a Michelin Guide restaurant (at own expence, registration later).
- Saturday 21.3. Board meeting, company visit & lunch or sightseeing (TBC), Evening Gala at Kakola, an old prison turned into a hotel and an amazing event venue.
- Sunday 22.3. Networking over breakfast (at own expence) & departure

The registrations (EB, NB and LB) include:
- Thu 19.3. Welcome event with food and beverages
- Fri 20.3. Company visit with transportation and lunch, sightseeing
- Sat 21.3. Second company visit and lunch/coffee OR sightseeing (TBC), the board meeting with catering for the presidents, INTs and other P&B organizers. An evening gala with food and beverages.
- Worth of this registration is more than 270€!
