Programming skills of PhD student

As stated in the project call, a "clear data science component" is required for the PhD projects. Accordingly, the DDLS Research School courses will require programming skills corresponding to at least an introductory course in programming in, e.g., Python, R, or similar. Please provide either a list of programming courses the selected candidate has passed, or describe the candidate's programming skills (§), or provide your plan for how the candidate will gain sufficient programming skills before the start of the DDLS RS courses.
