Crane training!

Please note that the training is intended for individuals who actively use a crane in their work duties.

The training is not tied to the announced training day but is agreed separately with the Laivanrakennusoppilaitos.

The training is paid. Registration for the training takes place through your supervisor.

Crane training is a two-part training

• Elearning, approx. 1h-1.5h (P18 class 1 or computer class) (display time can be obtained from the trainer after successfully completed elearning)
• VR simulator practical performance 1h (P18 in training facilities)

The elearning material is available in Finnish, English, Russian and Polish.

In addition to crane training, you must undergo a familiarized on the crane you will be using. This familiarized is arranged with at the hall crane trainer. 

The training is agreed upon by sending an inquiry email with the requested information to Laivanrakennusoppilaitos: laivanrakennus.oppilaitos@meyerturku.fi

In the e-mail, state:

• Last name, first name, shipyard ID number of the person participating in the training (+ cost number from MT personnel).
• Billing address, VAT register number (< not required for MT personnel) and contact person and their phone number + contact information, if different from the email

If the participating people do not speak/understand Finnish or English, then an interpreter (from the participating company) is needed in both (elearning and vr) sections.

The price of the training is 60e/person + VAT.  If a person has not used a crane before, they have the option to separately acquire training time for the simulator for 30e/person+VAT/agreed training session.

The vr-simulator must be completed within 1 month of completing the theory test.

Cancellation of participation by 12:00 on the previous working day or else we charge 30e/person/section + VAT.
