International Employer of the Year 2026

The International Employer of the Year competition celebrates organizations in Finland that have excelled in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining immigrants and international talent. Through this initiative, we aim to highlight employer success stories and inspire more organizations to recognize the vital role international professionals play in Finland’s future economic growth.

All companies and public organizations registered in Finland are eligible to participate.

How to Participate

To apply for the International Employer of the Year 2026 competition, please complete the application form below. We encourage detailed responses to provide a comprehensive view of candidate organization’s efforts.

Only employees or individuals external to the organization may submit nominations. Nominations from company top management or supervisory roles within the organization will not be accepted.

Organizations that receive a nomination will be asked to complete two separate evaluation surveys: one for management and one for employees.

Competition Rules

Participation is open to all companies and public organizations registered in Finland.
The competition features three categories:
- Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)
- Large Companies
- Public Organizations
Nominations can only be submitted by employees or individuals not officially affiliated with the nominated organization.
Judging is based on the nomination form and two follow-up surveys (management and employee perspectives). Comprehensive responses are essential.
Partner or sponsor organizations of the competition are not eligible to participate.
Participation is free of charge.
