Networking event for Alumni and Friends of the University of Helsinki in the United States on Nov 23, 2021
The University of Helsinki is among the best multidisciplinary universities in the world. One of our goals for the future is to make an even stronger global impact together with our international partners. To meet this goal, we are investing in the internationalization and bringing the UH message close to our alumni and other stakeholders. We also want to have an active role in supporting our alumni in their path of lifelong learning. We have a large alumni network present in the United States, and we would like to advance the formation of an active alumni network in this area together with our alumni.
We have a pleasure of inviting you to University of Helsinki Alumni & Friends online event on Tuesday, November 23 at 9.00 – 10.30 am (EDT).
During the event you have a chance to learn about the current educational research at the University of Helsinki and engage yourself with panel discussion on education development together with University of Helsinki researcher, Professor Auli Toom and Director of the National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools and Teaching (NCREST, Columbia University), Professor Thomas Hatch. We will discuss about the role research, pedagogic understanding and education technology innovations have in education development. How they effect on social justice and equality in education?
You will also have a chance to learn about the vision of the University of Helsinki Alumni work and our current activities.
