Get-together for the Alumni and Friends of the University of Helsinki on Oct 31st, 2019
The University of Helsinki is coming to Berlin in October to meet alumni and friends.
One of our goals for the future is to make an even stronger global impact together with our international partners. To meet this goal, we are investing in the internationalization and bringing the UH message close to our alumni and other stakeholders. We have a good number of alumni present in Berlin region, and we would like to advance the formation of an active alumni network in this area together with our alumni.
This time we have a chance to present you in Berlin the research we do on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to discuss with you on ethical and educational aspects of AI in Europe and in the world. Associate professor Teemu Roos is the person behind the free Elements of AI web course, which is the most popular IT MOOC in the world. More than 100 000 citizens in Finland have already passed the course Elements of AI.
The Vice Rector of the University of Helsinki, Ms. Hanna Snellman has a pleasure of inviting you to an informal get together on Thursday, October 31 at 6.30 – 9.00 pm, at the Finnish Institute in Germany in Berlin to discuss the vision and the current activities of the University of Helsinki, as well as how our alumni abroad can take part in the University of Helsinki Community.
