The journey from university and RTO research to commercialization Webinar

Date: 6 November 2026
Time: 09:00–10:00
Location: Online / Teams webinar
Language: English

How does research turn into a company – and what does the journey look like in practice?

From Research Towards Commercialisation is a one-hour webinar for researchers, Research to Business (R2B) teams and research-driven deep tech teams interested in taking their ideas towards commercialisation.

The webinar brings together founders who have made the journey from university research to establishing a deep tech company. Joonas Govenius, Co-founder and CEO of Arctic Instruments, and Andreas Liapis, Founder and CTO of Agate Sensors, will share their experiences from the commercialisation journey – the challenges they encountered, lessons learned along the way, and practical insights for researchers considering a similar path.
