This autumn’s Changemaker Weekend will take place at the Hvittorp Course Center in Kirkkonummi from October 10th to 12th!
Under the theme Peace in Pieces? we’ll explore the future of peace and peacebuilding. How can we build just peace in a world where conflicts and human rights violations are becoming more and more common? Where can we find hope and action for peace?
During the weekend, you’ll learn about just peace from a human rights observer who has volunteered in Palestine and hear insights on youth, peace, and security. You’ll meet young peacebuilders from different networks and get the chance to take action together for just peace. Plus, you’ll connect with amazing Changemaker volunteers from across Finland. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
The Changemaker Weekend is open to young people and young adults aged 13–35 who are interested in advocacy and global justice. It’s a great opportunity to get to know Changemaker’s work and meet other young people from around the country. No prior knowledge of the network or global justice issues is required to participate.
The camp will include workshops in Finnish and English.
More information on the camp can be found on our website (link will open in a new window). The program will be added at a later date.
