Grow Nordic & Baltic Programme

Welcome to the application for the Grow Nordic & Baltic (GNB) programme. The GNB initiative is a cross-border scale-up programme designed to support innovative, growth-oriented digital startups in scaling their businesses. Co-funded by the Interreg Central Baltic Programme, this project connects the startup ecosystems of Finland, Sweden, and Estonia. It is jointly organized by Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS), Helsinki Incubators,  Uppsala Innovation Centre (UIC), and LIFT99.

GNB provides startups with a structured pathway to scale-up status. By joining the programme, participants gain access to:

  • Baseline analysis and tailored coaching roadmaps.

  • Market immersion and cross-border networking.

  • Specialized training, expert mentorship, and thematic workshops.

  • Investment readiness, pitch preparation, and investor exposure at events like Latitude59.

Who Should Apply? We are looking for companies that meet the following baseline criteria:

  • Digital Core: Your company has a digital product/service or uses digital technology as the core of the business.

  • Growth Potential: Your business model shows potential for rapid growth and international expansion, with an innovative and differentiable product.

  • Founder-Driven: At least one founder is working full-time (or equivalent) in the startup.

  • Company Age: The startup is no more than 5 years old.

  • Location: The company is based in Finland, Sweden, or Estonia.

The official call for applications will run until September 25!

Please complete your application thoughtfully—this is your chance to introduce your team, highlight your digital solution, and share your vision for international growth. All submissions will be reviewed, and startups that meet the criteria will be invited to an interview. The interview is an opportunity to evaluate your suitability for the scale-up programme and ensure our expectations are mutually aligned.
