Registration for Alumni Day - Homecoming, 24 April 2026

Welcome to Linnanmaa campus! The event offers a diverse programme inspired by the themes of the City of Oulu European Capital of Culture. The day is divided into three parts, and you can register for all sessions or choose the ones that suit you best. The programme is free of charge, except for the evening event. A photographer will be present at the Alumni Day event to document the day and its activities. In addition, we will produce photos and videos of the event for the University of Oulu’s social media channels. Photos and videos may be published in accordance with good practice on the University of Oulu’s communication channels and in event marketing.

Participation

I will attend the science presentations by University of Oulu researchers at 12:15–13:30

I will join the student-led campus tours (45 min) starting at 13:45.

Tours have limited capacity (max. 20 people per tour). One tour will be in English. Please note: If you cannot join a guided tour, you can explore the campus on your own.

I will attend the coffee service starting at 14:00 and the joint session at 15:00–17:00.

The coffee serving starts from 14.00. The coffee serving ends at 15.00 when the joint session begins. You can arrive for coffee at your convenience.

Cancellation policy

By registering, you accept the cancellation policy. Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to the event producer: events@certia.fi. Registrations for the evening program are binding, and tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

On the next page you can choose your method of payment (if you have payments).

1) Mobile payment (MobilePay/Google pay/Apple pay, for Finnish banks only)
On the registration form, choose the mobile, and you will be forwarded to the payment service to pay with MobilePay. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*.

2) Credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
On the registration form, choose the credit card payment, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*.

3) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only)
On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*.

The registration fees are invoiced by Certia Oy on behalf of the local organiser University of Oulu.

*Paytrail Plc (VAT FI21228397) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the event organizer. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organiser.
