Allegro Songwriting & Bandcamp
Welcome to Allegro Songwriting & Bandcamp, an inspiring and creative camp for both
songwriters and musicians! The camp takes place from April 14 to April 16, 2026, in
Jakobstad, Finland, and is a unique opportunity for those passionate about music creation.
During the camp, participants can choose between three exciting focuses.
1. Write for the South African music market, create music for the fastest growing music industry in the world. We are collaborating with Active Music Publishing, who will provide active leads directly for the industry.
2. Write your own music and collaborate with artists at the camp. Create your own music/music for artists at the camp. You’ll also be working on marketing ideas and digital promotion for your songs during the camp, preparing your song for a strong release campaign.
3. Play in a band: Here, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own music, play together with other
musicians, and network with participants from Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Explore your musical ideas and create a unique encounter between musicians.
Dinner and listening session
The camp ends with a joint performance where both songwriters and musicians get to
showcase their works. There will be a dinner to celebrate the creative processes and the
new friendships formed.
Application

● At least two work samples (For band camp: playing your instrument.
Songwriters/producers: finished songs).
● A short CV
