UN Field Operations Security Management Programme (UNFOSMP) 1/2027

This is the application to UNFOSMP 1/2027

 Finnish Defence Forces International Centre (FINCENT), United Nations Department of Safety & Security (UNDSS), United Nations Department of Peace Operations (DPO) and United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs welcome you to the UNITED NATIONS Field Operations Security Management Programme (UNFOSMP).

 

UNFOSMP will be held as a hybrid iteration including online self-study phase and residential phase .

 The UNFOSMP 1/2027 the UNFOSMP Course will be at UNON in Nairobi, Kenya.

 1. UNFOSMP CPTM  (self-study online) is open for studies 24/7/365

The Self-paced CPTM Course comprises eight mandatory courses and self-studies. They require approx. 1-5 hours each to be completed.

Applying to UNFOSMP 1/2027 does not require the completion of the CPTM online course. However, the selected learners to the UNFOSMP 1/2027 must successfully complete the CPTM onlie-course prior to continuing studies in the UNFOSMP Course.

There is no course fee in the UNFOSMP CPTM online-course.

2. UNFOSMP 1/2027 Course at UNON, Nairobi (instructor-led residential)

The Basic Course learning days are 8 - 12 February, and the Advanced Course leaarning days are  15- 19 Feb, 2027

  • Learning days from 08:30 to 17:00 (Local Time)
  • Location: UNON, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Recommended arrivals at Nairobi on Sunday 7 Feb 2027
  • There is no course fee in UNFOSMP 1/2027 
  • Students and organizations are obligated to arrange and bear the costs associated with travel, meals and lodging.

A Course Confirmation letter will be sent to the selected learners for UNFOSMP 1/2027 by   November 13, 2026. The instructions for pre-studies will be provided in the Confirmation Letter as well as all the necessary information about the programme and social events.
