Hello! How are you?
Did you know that nearly 400 million people speak English as their mother tongue? It is the world’s most taught and understood language, a modern "lingua franca". English is also the world’s most common "second" language and plays a central role in, among other things, trade, technology and culture. The rise of English has been fueled by its historical nature as a mixture of different languages, and as a language that is no longer perceived as someone’s property. English is even the dominant language on the Internet.
The main goal of the Linguajoy Advanced English Club is to increase the student's oral language skills and courageness to speak, creating a strong foundation for international interaction and presentation skills. We will for instance use Super Science projects and drama as a learning tool. We will also do creative art projects in small groups, developing the skills needed for constructive interaction within teamwork situations. We gather once a week for 45 minutes. Our learning is supported by Linguajoy English Club Workbook, which we get to keep in the end of the study year. Welcome and join along on an invigorating language-learning pathway in English!
