The Understanding Leadership in Finland: What matters and why webinar on April 15th explores the values that shape leadership in Finnish workplaces. In this session, we will look beyond the commonly cited ideals of trust, equality, and autonomy to understand how these principles are interpreted in practice and how they appear in everyday leadership situations.

Description

The keynote speaker will discuss commonly proclaimed ideals – such as trust, equality, and autonomy – and how these values have or have not shaped leadership practices in Finland. The session will include examples from common procedures like performance reviews and task delegation, helping participants gain insight into what to expect and how to navigate leadership interactions in Finnish work environments.

Aim

You shall gain a compact overview of leadership culture in Finnish workplaces. You will learn how leadership values have been interpreted in the Finnish environment and how they manifest in everyday workplace interactions.

Target group

Training is targeted to members, who are interested in understanding Finnish workplace leadership norms and expectations.
