It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend our Future of Thermoplastic Composites conference on October 8th, 2019, in celebration of our 10 year anniversary. During this conference, a number of prominent experts will provide their insights into state-of-the-art and future technological developments and applications in the field of thermoplastic composites.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to hear from the leading companies and people in thermoplastic composites technology and meet with them in person. Moderator of the conference is innovation and technology expert Danny Mekić.

The founders of the TPRC - the University of Twente, Toray Advanced Composites, GKN Fokker and The Boeing Company - will offer new insights into thermoplastic composites developments and projects. We are delighted to announce that Alexander Rubin, Senior Technical Fellow composites technology of The Boeing Company, will be delivering the keynote speech.

Furthermore, our partners, including ATC Manufacturing, Coriolis Composites and DTC will, together with startups such as Rein4ced and Herone, examine entrepreneurship, cooperation, challenges, knowledge development and how they successfully accessed the market of thermoplastic composites.

Vice Presidents of Collins Aerospace and Spirit AeroSystems will elaborate on their developments and plans and explain the added value of collaboration to accelerate the rate of development and speed of innovation towards a more widespread use of thermoplastic composites.

The Presidents of the Executive Boards of the University of Twente and of Saxion University of Applied Sciences will also highlight the importance of a close cooperation between industry and academia, so that advances in research are brought to the market in real-life sustainable solutions and that today’s societal challenges are translated into relevant academic research.

The conference will offer ample opportunity to meet and speak with experts from the TPRC network and other participants during the breaks and the informal dinner after the conference.
