Alexander Stubb
Former Prime-, Finance- and Foreign Minister of Finland

Alexander Stubb served as Prime Minister, Finance Minister, Foreign Minister, Trade and Europe Minister of Finland between 2008 and 2016. His background is in academia and civil service, with a focus on EU affairs. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2008, a Member of Parliament from 2011 to 2017 and Chairman of the National Coalition Party from 2014 to 2016. He held the position of Vice-President of the European Investment Bank from 2017 to 2020.

He is also the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Crisis Management Initiative (CMI), founded by Nobel Peace laureate, President Martti Ahtisaari. Mr Stubb holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, has published 18 books and is a self-professed sports fanatic.

Bobbi Djordjevic CMP, has over 20 years of experience of work with meetings and events. Her current role as Global Category Manager at Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest provider of dental solutions, includes ownership of a Global Strategic Meetings Management Program for more than 2000 meetings and events executed annually.

Bobbi is sharing her experience with SMMP and procurement driven approach to meetings and events strategies as a volunteer member in GBTA European Meetings and Events Committee.

Therefore he is working with global and local TMCs, booking platforms and technology providers. David started his career as a management consultant, before joining the payment industry in 2010.

Jari Oinonen

Professional in services field, specialized in business travel management. Experience also in procurement, business development and strategy in multinational and global environment.

Jari works currently as Vice President, North&South Europe Sales at CWT. During his career, he has worked in different positions at CWT in Sales, Key Account Management, Marketing, Supplier Management and in Consulting. Jari has experience also from the client side, working as a Travel and Car Fleet Category Manager for two Finnish stock exchange companies. Jari started his career in travel in airline industry.

Julia Goodman

Julia founded Personal Presentation Ltd. in 1989, after a successful career as actor, director and producer in television, film and theatre.  She trained at London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has a degree in drama from UCL.

Simon Spiers

Simon challenges the traditional approach to corporate travel, embracing consumerisation and technology to improve the traveller experience while increasing program adoption—ultimately achieving savings beyond sourcing. Based out of the UK, Simon was one of the founding team members of Stay by BCD, bringing a holistic Global approach to hotel program management. Having spent the last 10 years of his career within the Corporate hotel space, he quickly develops solutions to client challenges within the segment. As Director, Sales – Hotel Solutions he is responsible for the EMEA region, consulting with multinational clients and prospects. His love of travel started whilst studying Economics and Geography at university, during which he wrote a dissertation highlighting how embedded the hotel industry is in Monaco. He first entered Corporate travel as a branch manager at Enterprise Rent a Car.

A business-to-business tech executive, she’s led teams all over the globe for tech giants Intel, Motorola, Microsoft and CenturyLink. Wendy has a deep connection to both the startup landscape and the cloud community having served as a full or part-time CMO to cloud, DevOps and software companies.

As a co-founder of the Ignite WA Women in Cloud initiative, Wendy is passionate about accelerating the path of the next generation of women tech leaders. Wendy holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UC Davis. Outside of work, you can find her hiking in the Issaquah Alps with her husband and two dogs.
