Make LinkedIn work for you – how to use LinkedIn successfully in job hunting

This hands-on training by TJS-Opintokeskus is designed to help international professionals and students in Finland effectively use LinkedIn for job hunting and networking. Participants will learn how to optimize their profiles, build professional networks, contact recruiters, and navigate the Finnish job market.
After this training, you know how to
- Create a strong LinkedIn profile that attracts recruiters.
- Build and grow your professional network.
- Apply for open jobs and find hidden job opportunities in LinkedIn.
- Be active and create content to build your professional brand.
The training is for unemployed members and those at risk of unemployment from unions affiliated with Akava and STTK (including MMA). However, anyone interested in the topic is welcome to participate.

With her empathic and supportive style Tiina Myöhänen-Astikainen has coached hundreds of people to get a new job.Tiina holds a Master’s degree in Business Admin, and has more than 20 years of experience in HR and career coaching field, with the newest passion in challenging interaction situations at work. Currently she works as a career coach in Suomen Ekonomit and as an entrepreneur in coaching company Solmunavaaja.
