LUPA HARRASTAA - Japanese language and culture

When: Tuesdays at 15.45-17.15.       September 8–December 1, 2026 (except Tue, Oct. 13). A total of 12 sessions.   
Where: Youth Culture Centre Monitoimitalo 13, Stage 2nd floor. The building has an elevator. 
For whom:  7.-9. grades
Description of the hobby: In this group, participants will explore the Japanese language, culture, and media culture based on their own interests. During the spring, we’ll cover topics such as everyday customs, traditions, popular culture, games, and the language. The activities are designed to be accessible to everyone, and no prior knowledge or experience is required. The group is led by youth instructor Ina Eskelinen, who has lived in Japan as an exchange student. Note! The group will be conducted in Finnish.
