Commanding, or prompting, artificial intelligence (AI) is not rocket science, but it is an important skill. It allows the AI ​​to answer questions in the right way and create the kind of content you really want. An incorrectly constructed prompt produces poor results and hallucinations.

Goal

In the training, you will learn how to build prompts for AI correctly and effectively. You will learn the basic structure of a prompt, how to reduce the risk of hallucination (i.e. incorrect information), and you will get several examples of where artificial intelligence can be used.

Target audience

The training is suitable for anyone considering using AI, or anyone who already uses it, who wants to learn how to better interact with it. The course is suitable for users of various AIs, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others.

The training does not require any specific application.

Anatomy of a Prompt

  • Basic principles for writing an effective prompt
  • Minimal and extended prompt – what to include in the command

Techniques for prompts

  • Clarity and accuracy

  • Utilizing an iterative process
  • Improving responses – specificity and accuracy
  • Multi-step prompting for more complex situations
  • Providing context to strengthen understanding
  • Prompt optimization for different subject areas

  • Giving a role to the artificial intelligence
  • Leave out and role-based prompting
  • Use of different languages

The most common mistakes and how to avoid them

  • Questions that are too open-ended
  • Vague instructions and excessive complexity
  • How to identify and reduce hallucinations, or false information
  • Best practices for obtaining clear and accurate information
